Well this might come as a shock to many of you but finally segaleaks has been shutdown. So no more rumors and lies trying to get sega fans hyped up for something that will never happen. Also, Sony has confirmed it has ceased production of the PSP Go and is focusing more on the NGP. Since the PSP Go didn't sell that well and is being cut in production, I think this could be a collectors since it will be hard to one of these in the future. Take advantage of the item and get it will its still cheap.

Re: SegaLeaks shutdown/ PSP Go cancelled...
I already knew about the psp.
As for SL, woohoo!
Finally got shut down. I wonder if SEGA finally had enough with them.

Remember 9/9/99 forever. Keep dreaming.

Traditional handhelds are going the way of dinosaurs. Smartphones and tablets are more tech savvy and user friendly, it would make sense why SEGA is going for the tablet design for the KIDSPAD.sega2k wrote:Well this might come as a shock to many of you but finally segaleaks has been shutdown. I could care less whatever happened with the blog. Let's move on please. I will speculate on whatever I find. Especially if another blog pops up like the one that I envisioned being started up in while.comradesnarky wrote:Never mind.comradesnarky wrote:Unfortunately, cockroaches don't die easily.

This is looking less and less likely with developer sources confirming to Kotaku Sony and Microsoft's rough plans/ideas for their next consoles which are still apparently three years off. Kids Pad would be common knowledge by now. They'd need to launch it with more than a few ports of old Sega games. If they kept it this secret this long, haven't shown developers anything, third parties would barely be ready to put any content on it when it did launch. Same thing for Neptune.MrSega wrote: I could care less whatever happened with the blog. Let's move on please. I will speculate on whatever I find. Looks like your "NO PS4" stuff was a bit off.

Mircosoft and Nintendo's next systems are already being proped for 2013. There's no current plans from SCEI on development of PS4.comradesnarky wrote:This is looking less and less likely with developer sources confirming to Kotaku Sony and Microsoft's rough plans/ideas for their next consoles which are still apparently three years off. Also, SEGA is developing KIDSPAD in secret. Only Japanese publishers know about KIDSPAD.

Thankfully it looks like Wordpress has taken a dim view of Zach Morris' latest blog and killed it due to it violating their Terms of Service. When you go to the page right now a message appears saying:

Good riddance in my opinion...

Except there is word of Sony developing a new PS4.MrSega wrote: Mircosoft and Nintendo's next systems are already being proped for 2013. There's no current plans from SCEI on development of PS4.

Here's a bit from the article:
Microsoft allegedly doesn't even know what they're putting in the 360 and they've already communicated their plans with developers. If Sega was working on anything secret, even if they're "only sharing with Japanese developers" (which is something you're just saying to cover your tracks), we would know. The next Xbox and the next PlayStation won't be released until 2014, if Microsoft and Sony have their way, industry sources tell Kotaku.
Both companies are hoping to wait out the current generation, and extending an already elongated console life-cycle despite clear signs that Nintendo will launch its next machine by the end of 2012.
"Both MS and Sony are telegraphing to each other that they're delaying, to milk the current [generation] and fill in previous craters better," one insider who has worked with the first-party companies like Sony and Microsoft told us.
Other sources with access to first-party companies, speaking to Kotaku anonymously because they aren't authorized to be talking about Microsoft and Sony's plans, said that they too are hearing that 2014 is the target date, though some believe 2013 could happen if either company feels pushed.
Our insider believes that any new Xbox in 2013 would only be a Kinect-upgraded 360, not the next-gen console that would come in 2014. That source says that Microsoft doesn't even know what parts will be in the next Xbox. They say the company's board "is wrestling with whether to be profitable on day one," as Nintendo's Wii was presumed to be, or to once again launch a new console at a loss, which is what Sony and Microsoft usually do.
Obviously developers will break NDAs as long as they're anonymous sources. They've been doing it for years. It happens in all manner of industries.
Besides that, Sony is a perfectly healthy company. They're not only a video game company, and their entertainment division hasn't sustained heavy enough losses to make them consider stopping. It's just a ridiculous hardcore Sega fanboy argument that Sony is dying because people are still bitter over the Dreamcast. Don't get me wrong, I only own one Sony product. I hate the company too, but I hate them because they make cheap, flimsy products, not because they ended the Dreamcast.
