Godzilla VMU problem/question

Post by SuperGodzilla »

I recently acquired two Godzilla VMUs. One of them works fine, and I can play the godzilla minigame. The second one appears with an error message "ゲ-ム ガ ア リ マ セ ソ" which I've been told means "There is no game". Apparently the Godzilla game was somehow deleted from the VMU. Is there any way to copy the Godzilla minigame from the working VMU to the broken one? No matter how labor intensive.. or is it impossible any help would be great thanks. BTW I do have a dreamcast I just would have to find/buy cords to do whatever it is you guys suggest.

I'm not sure if this is the game you are talking about, but if it is all you have to do is go on this link using a DC web browser and download it to the vmu.

So I do have to buy the modem and all that for my dreamcast then? If that file is already on my VMU should I be able to copy it to the other one??

I think its worth the try, but I think not, the only minigami that came with a vmu that I ever managed to copy is the one in the red wrestling vmu. all the others failed (haven't tried the godzilla one, coz I haven't got it yet)

I think so, when you highlightem, the copy option is greyed out & there's a msg that says file can't be copied (in the same way that its with the pso files)

ah i see mazonemayu. then you should be able to copy it using a VMU tool. i can never remember its name, but it lets you remove the copy protection that some save files have. i'm pretty sure i found it at blue swirl.

Gary B, I'm also from michigan, in Ann Arbor. I looked a little closer, and I did see the modem.. is im assuming it's fine to attach broadband to this, and not dial up. I guess my next step is finding my controller and cords for the DC. I'll let you know if it copies

In that case, get Dream Explorer. Then you can copy everything to another VMU. Even PSO files. It can be found at blueswirl. I'm pretty sure this is what Gary_b was talking about.
