Cabinet Controls
I’ve got almost all the kit needed for a NAOMI cab, but I’m stuck on choosing the right sticks and buttons. I’ve been recommended Amazon kits, GeekPub, or told to just build my own by my friends. For what it’s worth, I’ve already got a pair of Sinden guns, so that’s sorted. I haven't seen any of the Amazon or GeekPub kits in person to judge the quality. Anyone have any experience or recommendations?

I printed the few layouts that interested me most and lay my hands on them looking for the setup that feels the most natural to me.
My own personal preference is concave button tops and Il Eurojoysticks. But you should go with the styles that feel better to you. Most Japanese and Sega panels that I see seem to use Sanwa sticks and the buttons vary.

I've been looking hard at the Sanwa sticks for sure. I'm pretty sure those are the ones I played on the most in the arcades. I'll probably end up going the build it myself route with them.
