I apologize if this is a redundant thread. I wasn't terribly sure how to search it out to see if there was a standing thread covering this, but I did try and did not find anything.
I'm out in the internets exploring all these various forms of game music editors and filetypes and all that jazz and I just by accident come across this:
https://github.com/arthabus/DreamcastCdiTool
It is a games compilation maker based on the old DreamON Demo discs. Best I can tell anyway.
I tried to slap together a couple compilations but nothing launched for me and I've a habit of letting one project distract me from another. So I decided I'll monkey with this later and figure it out after I'm done playing with musics, but in the meantime a thread about it and what's possible with it can't hurt anything.
Soon as I seen it I thought, oh, better Smash Pack. I mean Gens4all is lovely don't get me wrong but the Sega SmashPack did come with Sega Swirl and Virtua Cop. Should be able to Gens4All the Genesis games in one cdi and pack them up with DC games in there own cdi to produce a compilation of genesis and dreamcast games in one cdi....right?
After Wedge made his SmashPack Stand-In my brother GatorCountry started to continue. I mentioned the idea with improvement hacks and off he went with it. So I'm just gonna pass this on to him and probably won't do much of nothing with it myself. If he does anything with it I'll come back and tell y'all about it.
If you know more about this project I'd love to read about it. It's not that I am uninterested, I am very interested, I just want to break the habit of moving on before I completed my last goal so I personally won't be doing much if any figuring out at least until I'm done playing with ADXs and whatnot.

Re: Compilation Maker
This is based on the Dreamon launcher so you can only run retail games with it. No homebrew is going to launch.
