PSOv2 w/ BBA and GDEmu

Hello all, I will be buying a BBA soon to get online with PSOv2. I am also using a GDEmu. I am completely new to the BBA and have never been online with PSOv2 before. Can anyone explain the process for setting up not only the BBA but direct me to the correct files I need to put on the SD card so the game will play? I have also created a character to play offline currently, so will I lose that saved game once I go online? I’m a novice, so if anyone here can walk me through easily I’d appreciate it greatly!
