Dreamcast - Powers on but black screen and no sound

Hey Guys,

Need some help. My dreamcast powers on and disc spins, but nothing shows up on the screen. Not even the main dreamcast logo.

I tried multiple video cords and tvs. I tried opening it up and cleaning it. Nothing is making it work.

Any ideas?

I had two that did that. I read about 10 years ago that if you tighten the two screws in the back at the AV connector, it might work. I really did not believe it but tried it anyway. The result was one still working and the other is "dead, Jim."

try spraying some contact cleaner inside the av port. I yearly spray all my ports on my retro consoles, it fixes many issues
