From what it sounds like, it looks like some sort of SEGA licensed Engine of some sorts. Maybe its pretains to a graphics engine for the upcomming SEGADRIVE arcade board that set to be unveiled this September.

I don't dispute this claim of a new board displayed at JAMMA 2011, its been six years since LINDBERGH, it is definetly time for a newer more powerful amsument machine upgrade.

You are WRONG stu. Completely wrong. Wikipedia is wrong as well and anyone who always takes them as a reliable source is a naive fool.

The RING series arcade boards are mid range machines, not the official successor to LINDBERGH. They were created to solve the high manufacturing costs and operating income problem that SEGA was having with the expensive LINDBERGH, they are both no different then LINDBERGH, RINGWIDE itself actually contains simluar power, RINGEDGE is more basic but preforms exactly the same at less the cost.

A high end arcade upgrade always comes from SEGA every five to six years. LINDBERGH came 7 years after NAOMI because of SEGA's tough finicial situation at the time. Its time for a significant upgrade and it looks as it we'll see one very soon.

My advice stu? Please stay out of this discussion, because you really don't know what your talking about.

Go back and read SEGA's amusment history. A mid range board is always released 3-4 years after a siginficant upgrade, The RING series are LINDBERGH's mid range successors, not official. Just like System 24 was a mid range board to System 16, Model 3 was a mid range board to System 32 and CHIHIRO and Hikaru were NAOMI mid range boards.

End of story.

The blogger claimed that next month supossidely at SEGA Gamer's day 17 years after SEGA Saturn was publicly annouced, that SEGA will confirm thier partnership with Caustic Graphics,Inc regaurding thier new arcade board which will have a $400 console to go with it launching a year ahead of Xbox 3 for 2012.

Since this blog is trollbot free, I'll use this blog as a source instead of Sega Leaks.

That blog was definitely made by Holzhauer in an effort to "confirm" his sources.

It was made today to back up SegaLeaks' article.

No its not. There's no proof of that at all. Its unrelated to SegaLeaks. Its also talks about Tekken and other non SEGA gaming only things,is troll free and has no flamebaiting or NSFW pics.
