actually, they don't. computers are fast enough as they are (I'm not talking for those hardcore pc gamers here, but for normal users), its mega corporations like MS that trick us into buying new heavier computers, coz they "make" a new (shitty) OS every few years or so & the "old" computers can't run them anymore, hence you upgradecomradesnarky wrote: If CPU has little to do with it then why do people ever need new computers?

I've used Macs for most of my life (used a PC for 3 or 4 years) and they've never had a crashing problem. They're pretty spendy for the initial investment, but they last a really long time. My desktop is a PowerMac G4 from 2004. It's mainly used for music, web browsing and older games, but it still runs great.MrSega wrote:You, know?
