To answer your statement, no I don't have any sources for my personal thoughts other than my own thought processes. However I'm not the one posting in a forum making wild claims that Sega is about to release a new console, when the main source of these rumors has been widely debunked as fake.

To sum up this "discussion" is going nowhere, neither MrSega or yourself have any sources, other than MrSega's opinions on what the "SegaDrive" trademark means and Zach Morris' discredited sites like SegaLeaks and SegaSatomi. If you wish to make up stuff about a Segadrive console, fine, but don't try to fool people in to beleiving in it.

1) You don't read any kind of Sega rumors site, and you're sitting around playing a Sega console one day and you think, what would happen now? That's pure speculation. There's a lot of things you can discuss there.

2) You read a Sega rumors site which has never posted accurate information, and think it's proof of... well, anything. You use this as a guide for discussion. What's going to happen? People are going to start claiming that one thing is true, one thing is false, so on and so forth. It does nothing to foster discussion. It absolutely kills it. Look at any of MrSega's threads before stu and I showed up.

Nothing interesting is discussed in them. It's just him posting one bit of information from SegaLeaks after another. No one in any of those threads does any speculating or discussion. It's just "oh I hope it's true!" Then someone posts a patent, so on and so forth.

Take a look at MistaBuck's fantarding thread and stu's SegaLeaks free thread.

The list of games discussed in MistaBuck's thread is just pure fun fantasy. It's great to read and imagine about it even if it's farfetched.

The SegaLeaks free thread is a great read also. There's so many great ideas there. It shows how dedicated Sega fans are and how well they know their stuff. Fans could probably do a new Sega console better than Sega could at this point.

I hope you can see the point I'm making here. MrSega, you should pay particular attention to this too, since you seem to think I'm a troll.

Where is your evidence of this?

According to trademarkia.com there isn't a separate trademark for Playstation 3, just the generic Playstation brand and one for Playstation 2.

The trademark for the logo for the PS3 was filed 11/09/2005 as you can see from the logotype it has the same lettering font as the Spiderman movie which was derided by certain elements of the gaming press.

This also blows your theory regarding the Playstation 4, since there is no specific PS3 trademark this probably means that there will be no specific one for PS4, but thats a discussion for another thread in a different forum.

Hey Shimo, I found a link from TSSZ with Crush40 annoucing that they are recording a soundtrack for a new Sonic game, its from last summer.

Cool, its probably for the 20th Anniversary Game thats in development. Looking forward to hearing more about that game.

When Stu and I post HARD evidence that something they said is a lie, you disagree and say Sega are making a console and that Stu and I are just trolling.

Hmm no-one is saying that you cannot speculate, speaking personally I think you are misleading the posters on this thread when you make statements like this:

Posts like this just unfairly raise people's expectations. Rather than making such an easily debunked statement such as the one above, why don't you start a thread asking for people's ideas for what they would like to see in a new arcade board from Sega?

Bottom line, refrain from making promises and predictions that you are in no position to keep, it only makes you look silly and people will call you on it and eventually people are just going to ignore your posts and consider you an unreliable source.
