In that case, get Dream Explorer. Then you can copy everything to another VMU. Even PSO files. It can be found at blueswirl. I'm pretty sure this is what Gary_b was talking about.

Dream Explorer is the one i was trying to think of. i wouldn't try saving more that one PSO save to the same VMU. it will most likely give you the (a PSO save file already exist do you want to overwrite) question.

no you cannot plug broadband into it. if you have the BBA you could. but Dreamcasts only came with 56k modems here. the BBA would have had to been purchased separately.
the good news is you can use Dial in free. go to this link and fill out the few steps. http://www.dialin-free.com/ this is a free dial up service for the state of Michigan. you get unlimited access. i have used it in the past for DC gaming. it worked good for me.
So, what do you guys think? Do you think the Godzilla game will show up in my VMU's memory on my dreamcast? Or will it be embedded or hidden? If it's out in the open I hope I can copy it, because the other stuff seems pretty time consuming

if you use Dream Explorer it has nowhere to hide. that tool even unlocks the few blocks that are hidden.
Gary, if I were to mail you my VMUs would you try to do it for me? It would save me some time and money, I wouldnt have to buy anything Considering we both live in the same state.

it would cost you more to mail it. the tool is free. and it would save you time by downloading as well. click this link to download Dream explorer. use winrar to unpack it. burn it with discjuggler. http://bswirl.kitsunet.org/vmutool/rele ... eud_DJ.rar
you may also need to download winrar. its easy to find on the net. just google it. all of these files are small so they won't take long to download.
to copy your VMU mini game you need 2 VMU's. in dream explorer select the file you want to copy, if its locked then unlock it. locked files are ones that normally cannot be moved or copied. once unlocked, copy it to the other VMU. then go back and lock them both. pretty simple
So I can download this program, burn it to a CD.. and run it on my dreamcast? I was under the impression that I had to buy a Broadband adapter for my DC, and access the program through the DC web browser, if it's just as simple as burning the files to a CD then I'm good. Now, a CD is fine right? I dont have to go find a GVD or DVD
Now I just have to go my classic gaming store and buy a controller and an AV cable I'm not sure where mine went.
yes CD-r's are fine. the Dreamcast can't use DVDs anyway. you download and burn Dream explorer with your pc. then run Dream explorer on your Dreamcast to make the copy of the mini game. if you need any tech help with this i can give you more detailed instructions.
I'm in the UK and picked this up from a local retro gaming shop who wasn't sure if it worked. Brought it home and gave the outer case/screen a clean...
