Either way, I'm interested. Seeing a 3-D game on the dreamcast in 2016 is kickass!
Will the game feature any multiplayer or arcade/endless modes? I love a game with replayability.

Re: OutbreakX (possible new game)
I'd be happy if this will have a single player mode, if it will be finished at all. A 3D-Platformer is a huge task and it would be a huge task for a team of devs. This is a one-man-show. Let him focus on the core.

...seriously?
I tip my hat to the dev, then.

no plans for multiplayer now, sorry.DR TEAMCAST wrote:Also, I saw a few people mention multiplayer.

But some challenges like "time attack" are likely to happen. No promises though.

Few more notes:
1. Gunplay was not originally planned. I'm just testing various ideas and might as well scrap it entirely. The game is a 3d platformer with simple combat mechanics in the first place.
2. Aiming mode is more or less functional now. Once I have something to actually shoot at, I'll post gameplay video. Should not take too long.
3. Also, my vacation ends very soon, which means that progress will be slowed down considerably. But I'll do my best to finish the game as fast as I can, I don't want it to take years before release.
4. And please do not set your hopes too high. I am not a professional programmer, have almost zero experience with 3d programming (which is hard, trust me) and never finished a game before.
----------------------------------------
Stay tuned. Any feedback is always appreciated.

added simple blob shadow (I don't know how to use modifier volumes yet).

Day 2: ...still can't find the support or pre-order button
No, seriously I really like your work so far. It would be a real shame not to finish this project (or at least a playable demo with some kind of highscore system). Keep up that stunning work!

Re: OutbreakX (possible new game)
Thanks you!
And don't worry, like I said, you will definitely get something playable in the end.
As for pre-ordering part... I'm not quite sure if the game is actually good enough to be sold, but we'll see.
