Introducing the world's smallest Toy Racer server!
It's a Samsung Q1 Ultra with a 800Mhz Intel A110 CPU and 1GB of RAM. As of right now the CPU usage by the server program is at 0% so the Windows version of the software runs really well.

I'm thinking about throwing it on my mini pc for fun: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... -_-Productpcwzrd13 wrote:Introducing the world's smallest Toy Racer server! It's a Samsung Q1 Ultra with a 800Mhz Intel A110 CPU and 1GB of RAM. I wonder how powerful the original servers were...

I'd like to see how hard it would be to write a script to see who is online. It looks like there are .log files which might have all the information along with a file that has the best times. Very promising for making a nice server info script.

that would make it easier for a person who can create a script for web-interface

I'm doing one of these in Shell Script (CGI) to run in the cgi-bin directory of the Apache! Will be Public Domain!Strik3r91 wrote:yes there are other .log file that contains connected clients info, actual created matches, chat rooms and etcLimitZer0 wrote: I'd like to see how hard it would be to write a script to see who is online. Re: Online game revived - Toy Racer
If I had to guess I'd say it wasn't any more powerful than my UMPC. You have to figure the server would have been a computer from the late 90s or early 2000s. An 800Mhz CPU is about right (The AMD Athlon was first introduced in mid-1999 and they only went up to 1Ghz). That being said, it held up quite well for Game Night last night.LimitZer0 wrote: I wonder how powerful the original servers were...
