Remember 9/9/99 forever. Keep dreaming.

What makes the official wheel so popular? It hasn't even paddles!
I tried the Concept 4 for a while yesterday, and it appears it is really comfortable. Too bad I cannot use the levers to shift up/down while using the paddles (same functions!). Fortunately, the 4 +/- buttons on the wheel can be programmed, so I could use them to shift.
However, the Ferrari is still my favorite one!

I have the Concept 4 and one of the Mad Catz wheels. Not even sure which MadCatz wheel I have because I used iut one time and then it went right back in the box followed by a trip to the storage building.
Haven't used any of the others, but the Concept 4 does the job. Currently it's in storage to though due to physical space limitations.

I've recently decided to pick up a wheel.. any more thoughts on which is best?
The official Sega one has the Swirl logo and VMU slots, but the others have accel/brake levers. Hmm..

I may be a bit biased because I only own an official DC wheel, but I remember using one of the Interact models and it didn't feel as sturdy as the DC model. The Sega DC wheel lacks foot Paddles (trades it for butterfly levers much like the Pelican model) but the plastic build feels really durable and the metal base underneath gives it good wieght. It also looks the best aesthically. I like the VMU placement on the wheel and the overall black compliments my Sega Sports unit

It's STILL Thinking Dreamcast Channel

I prefer the official one as well, I never liked the idea of paddles on the floor
. plus its sturdy & accurate

The best wheel for Dreamcast? (poll)
I can't believe I threw two official wheels in the bin ! I must have had it on me that week.......I feel ashamed
I've owned four different models over the years but I think the Thrustmaster is what I'd go for if I was looking for one now.

Thanks for sharing your opinions, guys.
The MC2, Concept 4 and Sega's own all have their good points, it seems. I won't be picky if I find one.
