Yes its like that, you can open the front of the box and it holds the box together with little magnetic strips which are invisible inside the box.

its basically a single row of pixels generated by old CRT/TV devices, there's simulators for it now, as obviously with LCD/LED/Plasma it has become obsolete. but it adds that old style arcade feeling in any game imo
