Re: SONY being sued!
seriously dude if u stopped sayin that there wont be a ps4 they'd stop agruin the point...The problem is ur st8ng that as fact when as far as we all know its not. Its diff if u said the way I see it there wont be a ps4 but ur sayin there def wont be one. If u havent noticed the ps3 is still sellin dude in spite of these issues with hacker filth. U cant say for sure they wont make another console. Sega made the dreamcast when they were on their last leg and sony is nowhere near that so its viable and possible that they'll make another console...and considering the the mistakes they made this gen it could be a pretty good console bcuz whether u believe it or not sony sees the poetential customers they're losing from their mistakes and they'll try to make corrections...lets jus hope that the next gen machines dont increase the price of boxed software (if they use boxed goods)...I miss the days where 40 bucks got u a new game...60 is painful man...I doubt any1 will go download only seeing as how many parts of the world dont have the internet structure for it and they'd lose market but u never know...

PSN will not be back up this weekend as initially thought. The delay could last anywhere from 10 to 14 more days, to add insult to injury, the hacker group has already threatened to attack Sony again once PSN is restored.
I can definetly say, there will be NO Playstation 4.

Sigh .. not this again. Can't you just stick to the topic being discussed?
Re: SONY being sued!
So far, there's no evidence that Sony is building a Playstation 4. If Sony were to start development now it would be too little to late, and PS4 would NOT launch until 2014.Hiryosuke wrote:seriously dude if u stopped sayin that there wont be a ps4 they'd stop agruin the point...The problem is ur st8ng that as fact when as far as we all know its not. Seeing that we know that Nintendo and MS are already preparing to annouce thier next machines at E3,it pretty obvious PS4 won't be expected for some time.
Also its going to be up to SEGA to put a stop to high development costs of games, PhysisX is the main reason why games cost so much, from what I've seen, SEGA has spent several years in R&D trying to develop an engine that reduces costs in developing games, we shall see it in thier next arcade board if the board has a console variant.

How uncharacteristically MrSega. Ignoring evidence that is contrary to his personal beliefs. Besides that, you've been saying that the Xbox 3 will launch in 2013. Why would Microsoft announce it at this E3? Their announce to launch time table for the 360 was about 8 months.MrSega wrote: So far, there's no evidence that Sony is building a Playstation 4. Kotaku's sources told them that Sony was working on it and had discussed their plans with developers. I've showed you the article multiple times. It's more evidence than a Sega console, so what the hell are you holding onto here? If you want evidence and want to talk facts, it needs to be across the board. This is a speculation forum anyways, so why are you pushing facts, hm? Isn't that what you get mad at Stu and I about?
Do you even know what PhysX is? Seriously, explain to me that you have a grasp on what you're talking about, because anyone with a brain knows that PhysX is doing the exact opposite of what you think.
Re: SONY being sued!
Comarade, your aruguments are nothing but sour grapes.
Xbox 360 was annouced as project "Xenon" a year and a half before it launched in May 2004. The original Xbox was publicly annouced in August 1999 MS launches a console either 18 months or 2 years after its publicly confirmed to be in development. So for you to make the rediculious accusation that I'm contridicting myself is ludicrious.
I'm pretty sick of you constantly trying to spin an under the radar rumor about PS4. That kotaku article has not been followed up, noir has the the rumor been coroborated by anything, no other popluar mainstream game sites like Gamespot,IGN is reporting it as a rumor. There's zero evidence of PS4 no trademark,no patents,no specs nothing.Stop spinning the article if it hasn't been confirmed yet. For you to do that shows sour grapes on your part. SEGA's next arcade board remains they key in whether they are returning to the hardware business.
It all depends on if the board is PC based or not.
Also, I know exactly what PhysisX is. Its what makes the budget of games skyrocket. Its called "rasteration", no duh. All three current gen consoles contain a PPU unit, it is the culprit of why games cost $60-70.
Considering that you and stu are constantly trying dispute me in everything I post. This is getting tiring and old, you two are the only ones doing this flamebaiting you can spin in your own topic you created about the PSN situation, why won't you post in that topic?. And I'd like for both of you to please cut it out.

Re: SONY being sued!
its kinda funny u point out stu and comrade about an under the radar rumor when the sega console rumors are jus that and they never come from even remotely reliable sources...jus sayin...anything from kotaku is likely to have a grain of truth to it and so far not a single sega console rumor reported over the years has had any truth to it...
Re: SONY being sued!
Alot of what you said is definetly true. That's why you have to take any SEGA rumor mill with a grain of salt. In these 2 years I've learned to study SEGASammy themselves, learned that they have a strict milatary grade rumor policy regaurding R&D,taugh myself how to read patents, and learned how SEGA builds thier consoles by modifying arcade hardware.Hiryosuke wrote:its kinda funny u point out stu and comrade about an under the radar rumor when the sega console rumors are jus that and they never come from even remotely reliable sources...jus sayin...anything from kotaku is likely to have a grain of truth to it and so far not a single sega console rumor reported over the years has had any truth to it...
It all depends on what powers SEGA'S next machine. It has to be NON PC based.
Regaurding kotaku, they are my personal favorite gaming site. But all gaming sites can sometimes get a rumor from a source that may be inaccurate. Nobodys perfect.
PS4 will remain to me as not in existance. So far, no one on the internet has presented a single piece of evidence that points to PS4 being in development, the closest I got was a February Japanese article on Sony's official site stating that development on PS4 had been postponed indefinetly.

I know man. I can't stand trolls, especially those who start flamewars in topics they have no business in. You do your best to ignore them.mazonemayu wrote:this section should be called Unreleased Trolling Section
Anyway, back on topic, as far as I'm concerned. It doesn't look like PSN will be back online until at least the middle of this month and to add insult to injury, it may be hacked again. Must suck to be Playstation fan right now.

Is that what you call it when someone uses intelligence to address you?MrSega wrote:Comarade, your aruguments are nothing but sour grapes.
You are contradicting yourself, though. If your knowledge is so in depth, you should know it was announced to developers as Xenon in 2004. It wasn't officially unveiled to the public until May of 2005.Xbox 360 was annouced as project "Xenon" a year and a half before it launched in May 2004. I'm not spinning anything. You're just using buzzwords that you hear on the news.I'm pretty sick of you constantly trying to spin an under the radar rumor about PS4.
Noir? When did we get on that subject? I didn't know you were a fan of the film noir, MrSega. I gotta say, I'm a Bogart fan. The Maltese Falcon is a classic. What's your opinion on the neo-noir directors like Michael Mann? The 2006 Miami Vice film was... oh, wait a minute. That kotaku article has not been followed up, noir
Okay, riddle me this: if I'm spinning Sony rumors, what are you doing with this Sega crap?has the the rumor been coroborated by anything, no other popluar mainstream game sites like Gamespot,IGN is reporting it as a rumor. There's zero evidence of PS4 no trademark,no patents,no specs nothing.Stop spinning the article if it hasn't been confirmed yet. For you to do that shows sour grapes on your part. Get some hair on those eggs, sour grapes hasn't stung since middle school.
It's not PhysisX. It's PhysX. Go on and Google PhysX. It's not rasteration. Rasteration isn't a thing. You're thinking of rasterization. Rasterization pertains to graphics. Regardless, PhysX... well, just try and say that out loud. I'll do it phonetically for you. Hold my hand, we'll get through it. Okay, here goes...Also, I know exactly what PhysisX is. Its what makes the budget of games skyrocket. Its called "rasteration", no duh. All three current gen consoles contain a PPU unit, it is the culprit of why games cost $60-70.
Phyyyyzzzzex
Sounds awfully like "physics," doesn't it?
That's because PhysX is an implementation that basically handles the physics engines for developers. It cuts development time and saves money, because the developers don't have to code an engine for the physics themselves. And no, all three consoles don't contain a PPU. In fact, none of them contain a PPU. The PS3 does indeed have a PhysX implementation, but, not a dedicated PPU.
You're just pissed off because some people came along and called you on your bullshit. It's also definitely your bullshit. Remember emailing Gary Cutlack? Care to explain what you call it if it's not bullshit, since you told "Gary Cutlack" that you created the Neptune name yourself? Clever name on that email account, also. Jack Morrison. Sounds sort of like.... Zach Morris.Considering that you and stu are constantly trying dispute me in everything I post. This is getting tiring and old, you two are the only ones doing this flamebaiting you can spin in your own topic you created about the PSN situation, why won't you post in that topic?. Ah, wait, there's more!
This is honestly sickeningly pathetic and desperate. How delusional can you be? Do you maybe need to be institutionalized? You've created this incredible fantasy world where Sega has "military grade secrecy" because there have been no valid rumors.MrSega wrote: Alot of what you said is definetly true. Besides that, incredible job teaching yourself to read patents and copyrights. You can't even read the Japanese filing date or differentiate ® and © copyrights.
In other words... yes, you choose to selectively ignore rumors that don't agree with your personal beliefs. I'd like to see that article on the official website as well; I seem to remember that coming from an interview with a game magazine.PS4 will remain to me as not in existance. So far, no one on the internet has presented a single piece of evidence that points to PS4 being in development, the closest I got was a February Japanese article on Sony's official site stating that development on PS4 had been postponed indefinetly.
Ladies and gentlemen, comradesnarky!
