If you think about it 360 is the dreamcast 2. Every move that microsoft made with the first xbox is all the moves sega would have made. The controller is the same, they even moved shenmue to the xbox, all the accessories are the same, the online is exactly how sega would have done it. I mean look at the dreamcast microphone and how it hooks into the top of your controller. Xbox had the exact same setup! Plus Peter Moore worked with dreamcast and then joined xbox. Basically, he just took everything and called it something different. Bascially sega needs to bring back all the exclusives and expand on their 3rd party support. Even though i HATE EA, they need them on board b/c its just a big company. Maybe sega could do what they did with Quake 3 and bring some pc games over to the dreamcast 2. Maybe bring shogun 2 since that game just got a great rating. They need to be creative and think of those mind boggling ideas they had with dreamcast and just make those wacky, out of this world ideas games.

Yeah, Japan released a few HK games, but not in the US. I'm a HK fan so of course Id like to see one for a new system. I wanted to buy one from ebay but the disc is only able to read DC from Japan.

i totally agree dude. and sega i think could dish out a pretty good console. they hit it home with the dreamcast and i think they could easily do it again. if sega does make a new console im gonna sell my xbox for it

The original Xbox is my favorite console aside from the Dreamcast. It has some great creative games on it much like the Dreamcast. I don't know if I would say the 360 is the Dreamcast 2. Maybe if they hadn't gotten rid of the blades dashboard. It feels like a totally different system since they did that. I hate NXE so much....

hmm well mrsega im not too sure. It could be a nice colour LCD (HD?) touchscreen. Somethin like a miniature ipod touch. I know some of you guys might despise touchscreen so it could also look somethin like the original with the colour and hd. Has the ability to play mini games, quite a portable machine mp3 and mp4 enabled.
Games on the vmu may come exclusively from a specific game that youve bought and some on a download store, bluetooth and or wifi to trade save files,chaos(if there will ever be a sonic game with chao garden again) post highscores, access internet. Something interesting like a camera as well for augmented reality shit.
Dont understand why the big 3 havent made something similar to vmus on their controllers yet... They are such a great idea even though they have bad battery life for the deeamcast which was probably the big complaint. Nowadays you can just use rechargable lithium ion batteries.

Probably because non of them think that the VMU concept is a good idea.
I forsee SEGA's new console having a controller look like the old GBA, with 6 buttons and an added touch screen feature.(Nintendo cancelled out the patent design for the original GBA in 2005 in favor for SP. They still hold the SP flip up design though.)
