yes, this board was designed by some idiot, but there is a solution, you need connect power to Vin and short two pins on diode

yes, i have one such board, so when i was first contacted about the problem, i looked at the board and saw that it was impossible to supply power to the type-c because of the diode, after that another user contacted me with the same problem, but this time i had a ready-made solution

I marked with a red stripe which two legs need to be shorted.

Idk how I missed that, I'll give it a shot this weekend

So after messing with this a little more, I cannot for the life of me get my GP2040-CE flatbox to be recognized... is there something blatantly obvious I'm missing here? I had it working the other day!

Edit: I got it working in PS3 mode perfectly, I might have a short somewhere in my soldering because I took it out of the 3d printed case and it started working

Edit2: the Mayflash F500 also seems to work well with the adapter!

So, I added a screen to my adapter, which is amazing. I plan to make an enclosure 3d with screen support, but I need to learn how.

I think that you should open a new thread for this question, the focus of this thread is use any USB joypad on Dreamcast.
I never see what you want in this forum, but maybe exists on another.

honestly I don't understand your complaint, if someone had firmware for such a device, I think you would have been answered, but since your question remained unanswered, either no one knows about such a device, or it simply does not exist.
if you asked about an adapter for connecting DC controllers to a PC, I would have sent you to Aliexpress, but you asked about firmware for RP2040, I have not seen such projects

Hey @megavolt85, in this version of GTA 3, the right Stick doesn't work, same changing to Guid + X mode on the Xbox 360 Wireless controller. Mr @jhone tested the preview firmware version and the right stick works perfectly without changing mode.
