Hi all,
I've been regularly playing my DC online for a few years now without a hitch. Unfortunately though, yesterday I went to play AFO and found that I couldn't join games without being immediately ejected. I subsequently tried Planet Ring, and sure enough, all the tables were showing as "full" for me, which would suggest that my DC is no longer DMZ-ed.
The thing is, I haven't changed any of my connection settings. I checked my router, and could see that the .98 IP address is DMZ-ed. I tried restarting the router and disabling then re-enabling the DMZ, but alas, that didn't solve the problem.
I can connect to PSO and Quake III just fine, which would typically be taken as further evidence that the issue is that my DC is not DMZ-ed...
For clarity: both lights appear fine on my DreamPi, and I can see that nothing else is conflicting with the .98 IP address.
At this point I'm totally stumped and am also bummed out as I'll really miss being able to play the likes of WWP and AFO if I can't get this sorted.
If anyone with experience could help me troubleshoot the matter that would be massively appreciated.
In case they are of any use here are some further details:
- I'm in the UK using a PAL DC with a GDEMU
- I'm running DreamPi version 1.9
- My ISP is Vodafone
