How you guys organize your games? GDEMU

Post by aldebaran9 »

What’s up guys,

I’m using GDEMU with OpenMenu, and with 70+ games, it’s getting hard to keep things organized. How are you all managing your libraries? Alphabetical? Something else?

Also, any idea if folder support is even possible?

I have two consoles with GDEMUs installed. The one connected to my TV is alphabetical. That works for me.
I have another inside an arcade cabinet. On that one I have separate sections to match specific controllers. All the light gun games are together, the racing wheel, and the fishing rod controller games are in their own groups.
I considered doing the same for Twin Stick, keyboard/mouse, and flight stick. I have not yet since those games I sometimes play with joystick or controller, too.
The list does get long, but I usually have an idea of what I want to play when I turn it on. Scrolling to it alphabetically is easy.
If I am aimlessly looking for something to play, the list is a bit overwhelming. I try not to do that and fall into selection fatigue. That seems to sap some of the joy from it.
