Grauen no Torikago Kapitel 1 Keiyaku

I got a book about Not for Sale software for various systems including Dreamcast.
There is a section in this book about Grauen no Torikago Kapitel 1 Keiyaku where it says you can still play it if you have the VMU files.

I downloaded the files to my VMU but still couldn't get it to work.
Has anyone else ever tried this and got it to work?

The special VMU save file you are referring to in that post.
Is that the one from Dreamcast VM Data Collection disc? Because this is the one I tried to use but didn't work.
I tried it with an original Grauen no Torikago Kapitel 1 Keiyaku disc.

I believe so, but it didn't work for me either.

In any event, I have modified all six discs so that none of that is necessary. They now all function as standalone players for the entire chapter.

1.Start disc6 with key file saved in VMU
2.Press Start button while holding down L+R at the title screen
3.Change to the disc you want to watch
