SA1 DLC

I am currently working on Sonic Adventure 1 DLC. This first one is simply a level variant for a character that normally doesnt go there, so learderboards are easy. But that brought the question when Xiden mentioned DLC scores being encrypted. Does anyone know how the SA1 website used to register DLC scores (There were leaderboards we know thatsa for sure). At some point of DLC making there wont be enough levels as a level can only be used once without dlc scores from the past getting in the way, but if DLC scores can be uploaded through send data, then we CAN reuse.
