Hey guys!
I got my dreampi! Lets go!
But one problem.
Every time I try to connect it gives me a error saying “no dial tone detected”
What’s the problem?
Thanks,

Are the 2 lights on on your Dreampi modem? That’s what happened to me. Check over your wifi settings, or make sure your pi is connected to the internet.

Alright so there is only one light, and I tried to log in to set up the WiFi, with the pi login and raspberry password, and it said login invalid. What’s wrong?VKNIGHT20 wrote:Are the 2 lights on on your Dreampi modem? That’s what happened to me. Check over your wifi settings, or make sure your pi is connected to the internet.

Re: Help ASAP! No dial tone errors!
Well first off let me say congrats on the DreamPi!! Looking forward to playing NFL 2K1 with ya bud. Anyways as far as your problem goes I’m not exactly sure how the WiFi works as I went with plugging mine into the router. However there is a decent video on YouTube titled “Online with a Sega Dreamcast and a DreamPi in 2018” and in the video he shows setting up online through the web browser disc. Or you could hook up online through Quake III Arena as that seemed a tad bit more simple to do. Idk if that can help your specific problem but it’s some insight. I hope it works out well soon!!!

I havent gotten the login invalid error before. Perhaps you entered it wrong? The password will look invisible.

If you’re certain then maybe unplug and replug the pi, and try one more time.

Ok then. Maybe if you plug your pi directly into your router and try, then you wont have to configure your settings at all?
