Made a couple of schemes on paper.
What will this site feature:
News, although i know already i wont list a lot. More likely at its beginning i will tell how is the website progressing.
PSO and Q3A servers. Not to compete with these, in fact i will support DCT, but like impulse says, for ping reasons, it will be nice to have europeans servers;
VMU saves zone;
Chat room;
Boards;
And the biggest part, which i have already mentioned, will be the games databases. It will feature everything. Official, unreleased and homebrew games. Will show name, cover, description, short info, release date and i will encourage people to write a review of each game. With in depth analysis.

Everything will be done with the original dreamarena look like, the most close possible that is.

That sounds fantastic! Never before has been a site that has had so much dreamcast info all in one since dreamarena (in america it was called seganet) shut down. I really like the idea. Whenever you want me to give you the basic template I will start to fix it up. I have one question though?
What size should I set the template to? is it VGA 800x600 or is it something else? I mean size and resolution.

Yep, 800x600. But dont work TOO hard on the template. You said it yourself, its gonna be a huge website, that means its gonna use, a lot, of databases. So before working too much on secondary things, like the template, ill work on the main things. Just saying i wouldnt like you to work too hard on something that after all may be incompatible with what ive done. I dont even know, what tools are you planning to use for the template? I hope its php, because the rest of the website will be in php.

In short: we have to proceed in order. Although the looks of the website will be an important point, since i want to make it look like the original dreamarena, in the webpage making process, it is yet the second phase.

Listen I do not know how to code what so ever and I barely know what php is. What I mean for the template if just put that as the template and resize it. I didnt want to put anything on the template yet becuase like you said you are planning stuff out.

And i dont know what you mean by that. What kind of template? In what format does it output? Thats why im saying it may be not compatible, because i dont even know on which format you are planning to work.

Actually, just give me anything you can. Ill modify it if needed, for someone willing to help, i would be stupid from my side to reject it..

Looking good Farvenation. The Doctor can operate on anything you can give him. Getting anything to start from is always the key to getting a project off the ground.

What i mean as a template is a photo used for the background of the website. I was just going to stick the jpeg and use that as the background of the website. Maybe i used the wrong term if I did i am not suprised. Srry for the confusion. I was going to use kompozer to set up the jpeg template or background to turn it into the standard html file.

Listen, the point of being a leader is to teach the other people lessons. If you want to reject do it. Ill learn from my mistakes. You dont have to be all soft on me or anything. Im wiling to help even if you reject my ideas.

And im no one to teach. Anyways, a single picture set isnt exactly what im going to use. But give me it anyways so i can use it as a base, it will become handy.

Thanks.
