GGs tonight chaps. Was an absolute blast!
I finally managed to enjoy some lag free 2v2 games and it’s a great way to play Gundam!

LOLs - your American presence (although always a pleasure to play online with American players) probably caused all the horrendous lag in the early 2v2 games!HubbsGVN wrote:Need more US players. lol
I hope Shu gets this sorted or perhaps we can all meet in rooms relative to our locations such as US, Europe and Australia etc.
Great to see you online though Hubbs!

Someone will come in and correct my sub-par networking knowledge....hadyn wrote:LOLs - your American presence (although always a pleasure to play online with American players) probably caused all the horrendous lag in the early 2v2 games!HubbsGVN wrote:Need more US players. lol

Gundam's online infrastructure was built with the intent that local players only (i.e. Japanese) would be playing each other. The lag was definitely less noticeable when there were 4 UK/EU players compared to EU vs US. I actually prefer the way it lags by 'stuttering' rather than taking 2-3 seconds to respond to a button press. At least you can get an accurate shot in, even if it takes a little longer to get there
Anyway, fab games tonight - looking forward to the next time!

I think it was a perfect storm because I was choosing my suit 9 times out of 10 rather than just random selecting, I have been playing a lot of gundam on the vita which is similar controls and I also had a partner that fought back and wasn't just cannon fodderhadyn wrote:Your Gundam skills have improved 1000% since we last played together mate!
