can you not take the image of 1.7 apply the patch then create a new image using WIN32DiskImager and upload that and leave Kazade to work on SaturnPI?

I've released an updated version of 1.7 (1.7 DLE) which includes the bugfix and my updated Wi-Fi configuration utility. More info here.

i've bought my dreampi january this year, already with the 1.7 firmware, why i should update to this? :)

No need to update then. You already have the fix.
