How to sync up artwork with Atomiswave ports

Post by 2Devastado »

So I have Dreamshell and a folder of preset artwork of Dreamcast games but I don't know how to sync up artwork I've downloaded with the Atomiswave ports.

I have the Atomiswave ports on the root of my SD card each with its own folder for the game files. Games work good but I'd like to sync up the artwork I have for the menu but can't figure out how to let the UI I know. Also using this in Dreamshell/Retrodream if this helps.

Do I have to name both the folder and the game the same thing and put them in the artwork folder? I tried that I think and it didn't work. Any help would be greatly appreciated. :ugeek:

Same name in iso in hex match it with ether pvr with same name or jpg using retrodream thats about it.. not the name some one named it but the name in the iso you can seeing using hex editor

open track3.iso in hex
name in hex.png
Pretty simple goes in the ds/apps/loader/covers

Thanks for the reply, so I tried this and think I have them set up correctly but the images still don't show up in Retrodream. This is what I see...

Also how much of the name does it need to be, just the game title or all the other information above it as well? Mine is saying Preview not Found and Disc.jpg with the path.

1) rename disc.gdi to dolphin_blue.gdi
2) put dolphin_blue.jpg to /sd/DS/apps/iso_loader/covers/

Thanks for the reply. So I just tried this but now the covers appear to load in but are just a white block and then it eventually froze when I went over on Demolish Fist.

I have the images in jpg format but some are high quality/resolution, may that be causing the issue?

I named both the disc.gdi of all the game to the way you had it with the images having the same name and in the covers folder. Any ideas as to why this is happening would be appreciated. :D
