Im not sure if all of our new dreampi users are aware of dreamcast now!, a service that shows you who is online and what dc game they are playing.

If you are a dreampi user you can go here and configure your username and add an optional avatar. Configuration usually involves just ryping the ip address of your dreampi.

Im hoping this will help update the tons of unnamed users we have on dreamcast now

I think it would ve really cool to see dc now integrated into this site

Its real easy guys, you all did the hard part creating the dreampi now give yourselfs an Identity!

I plan to have most of the features you requested but they will be app only for the time being.

an app will be awesome, will it be on both android and iphone?

Other recommendations i'd like to see if you have time to implement

- Adding more rankings for the longer you play your dreamcast online
- Purging inactive members beyond maybe 2-3 months? (Helps show a more accurate representation of our online community)
- Optional push notifications to tell you when someone logs in

There's nothing stopping it being built for IOS and Windows Phone (will probs make a WP build if anyone needs it) but I cannot make the IOS version myself as I do not own a mac to publish it.

It's built in Xamarin so it will run on IOS, just need someone willing to build and maintain the IOS version. I'm open to anyone doing this.

Im on it, only for android, hope to finish it before Xmas. My lack of time and known of android are making the thing slow, but works for now. It includes a simple progran and a optinal widget that tell the current online users with a number, very primitive but works. I want to add:
-Friends list
-Alarm if someone plays to your favourite game (Not viable for now because DreamPi sometimes dont show what you are playing.
-Alarm if is available some player.
-Alarm or warning for events.
-Make an easy but beautifull interface.
-Some options like skin select, refresh rate...

But like i said for now, its more a tool than a app.
Soon i will show a bit of it

EDIT: I remember that my main wall of this was the "parsing" of the web info (DreamcastNow), what way to choose, better than raw reading from source web. Who is the main creator/owner/admin of this service? If the thing works with .xml better, if it is other way like database, a bit more work will be needed.
