Hey guys! New here so hello

. I just have a question for you guys here who can possibly help me. Basically, I've been thinking about investing in a VGA box for my DC so I can get 480p and get better quality than my a/v at the moment.
On this picture I have attached,
my DC audio goes through my PC Line in as if it were a microphone. I enable listen in on my audio settings on Windows so I can hear the game audio through my 5.1 speakers in my computer.
What I would like to know is if I would be able to keep the DC audio going through the line in on my computer and through the computer speakers whilst using a vga box. It sounds great through my speakers and would love to keep this audio setup whilst having VGA. Your help is greatly appreciated.

Sure, no problem. Most vga boxes or vga cables have a jack for audio output.

Hey Xanxi. In just had a check on eBay for some VGA stuff. I saw a simple cable version and VGA box. I saw this for a cable one -

Whilst there are of course many VGA boxes on there. That cable looks really simple in that I plug the VGA into my Television's VGA Port and then the RCA cables can go into my RCA to 3.5mm adapter on my computer as pictured in my original post. It looks like the VGA boxes would need me to use the TV audio which I do not want. It seems my topic has double posted as well for some reason. Sorry folks!

since the audio signal is not sent thru the video (VGA) cable, you are not required to use the TVs speakers. if you wanted to use computer speakers, use a coupler to change the L/R rca to female 3.5 plug

I think I am going to purchase the VGA Cable version with the RCA attached as I posted in my second post. I'll just use my splitter I have already. Thank you for your help
