[*]The Dreamcast Underground(DCUG) is pleased to annouce their new game, project Firebolt* Firebolt takes place somewhere in the distant future, where most of humanity has fled to the stars as earth has become rules by an evil tyrant. Firebolt has high hopes of giving the Dreamcast a much deserved breath and bring one genre that never touched the Dreamcast to the DC: First Person Shooter. Firebolt is due for release in a year or two, as the story is only 2/4 conceived( and 1/4 written down).

Please, you are welcome to post questions, concerns, anything! Also, if you support this game, please like us on facebook! Our company name is Dreamcast Underground, and the official page for the game is Firebolt( tentative title). Have fun, fellow DC gamers!

* Firebolt is just a development name. Name subject to change.
Ps we understand that there are fps available on the dreamcast, but not built for it, mostly they are ports. This will be a Dreamcast exclusive.

1. Firebolt is some kind of mod (half-life, quake, blood), or you're using your own game engine?
2. It's free or commercial game?
3. How many members are in the DCUG team?
4. When you plan to run Firebolt page?

1. Firebolt will not be a mod of another game, but a whole new game with a new engine(Currently titled Underground Engine).
2. We are currently debating weather or not Firebolt will be free or not. We are currently looking at other games and, if our game turns out to be commercial, we'll have people pay VERY little(compared to new Dreamcast games being developed).
3. Currently, DCUG has a handful of people working there.
4. A Facebook page is already up for DCUG and Firebolt, with a website being under development.

Aright, according your recent posts here you are new to dreamcast so what make you sure you can make a new game for dc ? What skills and experience you team have ?

P.S. a FPS game for dc is a good idea so good luck with a project, you have first pre-order . I'll be keeping my eyes on your team.

Correction. Technically, Outtrigger was built around the Naomi hardware by Sega AM2 dev house. Outtrigger remains a DC exclusive.
