I'm Rally Good! - Win a Sega Rally 2 competition
Lightning Lap! - Get a lap time of 0' 40" or better
What Car? - Get a total time of 1' 55" or better
Zoom! Zoom! Zoom! - Get a total time of 2' 10" or better

My son was going to play it tonight but there is a problem: no Peugeot 206 in the japanese version !! Any suggestions as to what to do ?

Thanks for pointing that out. Since there are no entries in the competition yet, I went ahead and changed the car to the Subaru Impreza WRC. This car appears to be in both versions.

I never played it b4 and I was bad to start with but my dad shown me how to drive it better .But then you beat my time.Oh well I really like the game and its like the arcade game but better even than that.I want to play it some more to beat my time.Can you use a wheel or is that more slower

Yeah, you can use the wheel if you like. Obviously it will take more practice to get used to using it with the game though.

Aw, no Lancia Stratos? And by default configuration, do you mean we're not allowed to tweak the performance settings?

Yup, that's correct. If you're not sure if your settings are default then just load the game without a VMU.

Why not? If everyone used their best car with their favourite settings, wouldn't it be fair? Everyone has their favourite and therefore can perform their best runs with said car.

Well, I want everything to be completely fair. If everyone uses the same car then it's just down to who is the best driver and that's what we want to know! Plus some cars have to be unlocked and as you can see above, some cars aren't even available in different versions of the game (Japanese, PAL, etc...).
