The next Dreamcast Live competition will be starting in about a week. The game will be Hydro Thunder. I have put up this poll to determine the track we will be playing. Please vote for the one you would like to play. We will be competing for the fastest time on the track. I've only included tracks from the Easy and Medium categories so more people will be able to join without having to unlock the other tracks.

looking forward to this, though I must admit I'm pretty out of practice as I've been mostly playing the new Hydro Thunder on XBLA and its A LOT different lol. I Hope Speed Devils is the next game chosen!

I mean competition stuff is great, but lets not have 2 games in the same genre in a row.

might as well be some weird jap puzzler that nobody has ever heard of (just so while at it, folks get to know good new games they never heard of)

yeah but its only gonna be the games that ol PCWzard has Mazo as its his site, not everyone has as "Eclectic" a collection/taste as you buddy! I'm happy with more fighting and racing games as it puts everyone more or less on a level playing field. For instance I'd love to do a competition about Ikaruga but I can gaurantee that there will be someone out there with ridiculous skills at that game that will just make my puny scores look utter rubbish!

Not necessarily, I will add games that people may suggest (Like Ikaruga) but it has to receive enough votes on the polls. It wouldn't be much of a competition with only two people. I will just buy the game for the competition (it's a good way to decide which game to buy next) or "acquire" it by other means .

cool well maybe we should have a thread where people can poll the games they want to get added to the site and in there we can just suggest games we feel would make good additions?

my point exactly, I mean most dc games are downloadable & everybody knows how to burn a cd. I'm not saying every contest should have an obscure game, but every now & then it'd be a great opportunity for folks to get to know a great (odd) game.

besides what you said akout Ikaruga goes for any game, there's always someone with better skills out there
