I tought it was possible due to the origin and nature of the server software, but never tought a GC player would interest connecting to a server that is tied with a dreamcast community.

Not sure if now is possible.

But if it's possible then the same cautions should be in order, it would be bad to see ppl getting FSOD just because they picked a GC item or something like that.

so I'm about to get a wii, and I know that wii games play GC games. So if I use PSOGC on my wii can I still connect online or do I HAVE to use the GC cuz of the modem? I heard somewhere that PSOGC recognizes the wii doesn't have a modem so it won't connect, is that true? If so, does anyone know of a way around it? By the way, does this topic really belong in the Game Scheduling section?

PSO EP1&2 was made to work on a GC and so it was made to detect GC hardware.

If you run the game on the wii you will be able to play but only offline, the game can't detect any GC hardware on the wii

So wait can the dreamcast version connect the the pc version? or can they all connect to each other if thats the case gotta get a new dc

You mean play together, yes it's possible.
Very buggy, NOT RECOMENDED (ver.2 and GC gameplay)
