Hi guys, I came across this news on Twitter, I don't know if it's already been posted here!

https://youtu.be/vifFJ5y3X4E?feature=shared

programmer "stefanos kornilios" @poiitidis is working on a port of GTA 3 for the console!

The programmer is using reicast with the 32mb mod, although he says he barely uses the 32mb.

The biggest problem at the moment he says is understanding how the renderware works on the Dreamcast, to be able to implement it correctly!

Leave some images and videos!
I'm extremely amazed by this, it's an impressive piece of work!

is in the initial process,

The Deep Fighter game uses a renderware engine, if I'm not mistaken. He could study how it works.

My brother worked for Criterion/Renderware back in the Dreamcast days. He never worked on any of the games. He was working on a port of a Russian game for another studio which used an early version of Renderware. After much frustration at their (Criterion) lack of documentation, he casually suggested he write a user guide to make things a bit easier for everyone. He worked there for a couple of years, wrote it, then left (or there was nothing to move on to...)

Could this be of any use?

I did a search online and didn't see it anywhere obvious.

It's about half the size of a very big phone directory from back in the day. I'll only scan it if I really have to :) Although I suspect it's already out there somewhere?

The Fear Effect Inferno PS2 prototype is a debug symbol build. This game uses the Renderware engine, so there may be some information to be gleaned from it.

Wow! That is so cool, GTA on the Sega Dreamcast! I can’t wait to get GTA III on the Dreamcast! You should also make GTA Vice City and GTA San Andreas for Dreamcast in the future for the complete trilogy. I’m very excited!

And also try to make these GTA games Online Multiplayer compatible. That will be the next gen of GTA Online for the Sega Dreamcast with the DreamPi. I could imagine playing this game online worldwide (SegaNet North America, Dream Arena Europe and Dricas Online Japan with the DreamPi). That will be awesome!
