Re: USB4MAPLE adapter
I have many 8bitdo controller's and would like to see them work with this. How do I test them? Or should I say how do I get the "VID" and "PID" so I can give Megavolt the info and have these controllers work with USB4Maple?
Also I just got the adapter from pcwzrd13 today. The only thing I have gotten to work somewhat was my PS4 controller. I tried Crazy Taxi. But the controls were all jacked up? Like after I connect the PS4 controller to a game do I have to go into the game settings/options and reconfigure the controls or something? Do I have to do that for every game I try to play with a non-DC controller?

Re: USB4MAPLE adapter
Built some Twin Sticks. Using Brook universal fight board into Mayflash 2, into USB to Maple adapter. Can confirm working, but I definitely want to tinker with the micro switches on the joystick some more. Would love to remove some adapters from the chain (the Mayflash) if at all possible.

Re: USB4MAPLE adapter
I bought some Dreamcast extension cables to try to build this. I know how to solder but I'm a bit of a dummy when it comes to reading diagrams/instructions. Do I literally solder the wires to the metal pads on the inside of the extension cord port or am I reading this wrong?

Re: USB4MAPLE adapter
Hello, I just wanted to ask you three questions. I am really interested in this project because my dream has always been to use my G25 racing wheel on Dreamcast.
1. Is the G25 recognized as a racing wheel or a controller in the game?
2. Where is the wiring diagram for this adapter?
3. Is the latest firmware USB4MAPLE_01.05.24.7z?

Supported Logitech wheels will appear as a dreamcast racing wheel.
Wiring is on first page.

Re: USB4MAPLE adapter
I saw the picture on the wiki but was confused since it was just a picture of the inside of the controller port. If it's just cutting off the end and using those wires, I can do that. I just wanted to make sure first.MoeFoh wrote: ↑Fri May 03, 2024 10:36 amSee the usb4maple wiki: http://usb4maple.wikidot.comfloattube wrote: ↑Fri May 03, 2024 9:09 am I bought some Dreamcast extension cables to try to build this.
