[ONLINE] External Serial Modems: Appreciation

For some time now I have been demonstrating my collection of dial-up modems in game night threads.
I find it interesting that these devices nowadays have as their latest capabilities this: server as internet intermediaries for the Dreamcast.
I would like to leave here as an appreciation these modems that I have, both to share with you friends, and to document this possibility. Important as a proof of concept and to demonstrate that it is possible to use any modem with the DreamPi. Some will require:
1- no code modifications,
2- some code modification
3- just a single modification when it is used together with the small usb modem as support for dial tone, leaving the data phase to the chosen modem. (my current preferred mode)
Below is an example of the setup I put together, there are 5 external modems + 1 small USB, connected completely in line (rj11 cables from one to another). Either can be chosen by just selecting the key on the USB switch.
If you liked it, leave a comment! thanks.

Hey, nice serial modem collection. I am trying to setup my dreamcast using a U.S. Robotics 5686 56k v.92 serial modem. Can you tell me exactly what all you have in your setup? I think my Prolific serial to usb adapter is causing issues with getting my dreamcast to work with my modem. My setup is like this .....Dreamcast Modem------> Serial modem------> serial cable to Prolific Serial to usb adapter----> Host PC. On the host pc i have setup mgetty and ppp. My serial modem does not have voice support. Is it required to have voice on a serial modem? I have also tested the PC-DC server iso image running in Virtualbox and It also will not connect. Any help getting this working would be great. Thanks in advance.
