I tried seeing how a large, unpaged VMU would work on an emulator, and some games work ok, but others will corrupt the VMU or crash. Having a large, single VMU is not something that can be safely done.
I just got mine in. I am part of I broke my cap club for sure. I think there is a problem with the SD card not sure if Fat16 vs Fat32 makes a difference but the first virtual VMU appears to get removed while others remain and work fine. You can also plug the sd card into a computer and rename them.

Just noticed extension cables doesn't work. It also can't boot with dreamcon.

The VM2 has been heavily tested with DreamConn. What are your symptoms? Perhaps contact Chris for support. That shouldn't be happening.
Just won't turn on has a clicking sound when powering on.
