Hi I just tried using my original evo disc to try and connect online, but just could not connect to the master server. I'm using a dreampi and am able to connect with every title I have tried so far such as AFO, Sonic Adventure, Quake 3, and PSO.

I then found this 4x4 version (https://mega.nz/file/yf5STCYQ#e-LR7QFHQ ... PqTM__K70Q) that allowed me to connect to the master server, but I could not join my brother's game and he could not join mine. We could join a chat room together, but not an actual game lobby.

Are there any patches or anything I should be aware of? I was shocked to find that random file allowed me to connect to the master server, but sadly that's all it could do.

That file I linked does indeed let me connect to the master server and play online with others!

One problem is that I can't join a game that's hosted on the same router as me. Anyone have any clue why I can connect 2 Dreamcats to play pso and quake 3 together, but 4x4 evo won't let us connect if we are on the same router?
