Dreampi 1 AM update

I've got my dreampi setup working great. Anyone know why at 1 am UK time it decides to try and update. It fails. The setup works great and confirmed working, played online with PSO. I have to reinage the sd card every 24 hours. Any help would be great.

I don't have an answer to this myself, but I have some suggestions.
1) After flashing and setting the DreamPi up, you should do a manual update to the entire device, no matter what.

sudo apt upgrade
sudo reboot
2) Backup the SD card afterwards to save some time.
3) Where possible, try to just unplug the Pi when not in use, for the sake of security. Unless you're using the DreamPi for other purposes, it's really not necessary to leave the Pi running at all times, only when in use along with the Dreamcast. Given that it should only take about 15 seconds for the DreamPi to come online and be available for the Dreamcast to connect, plugging the Pi back in when you're going online will be done well before you get a game to the "online" page anyway.
