I created an App to burn all 4 CDI file types on Macs, because I found there is no good software for Macs that does all of the below:

WAV in an ISO+ISO data
WAVs in an ISO (CDDA)+ISO data
WAV+ISO data
WAVS (CDDA)+ISO data

The script the app runs can easily be changed to work on Linux, BSD, etc. The App is compiled for Mac OS X 10.3.9 G3-G4-G5. Should work on Intel Macs with Rosetta. If you build from source on a newer Intel Mac it should work on 10.7 and above.

Great Work! All it needs is a proper name! DreamBurnMac ? MacBurnDreams? or simply Dreamcast CDI Burner For Mac OS X?

This is a great release for the MAC using members of the community, I really hope someone runs with this and sets up an intel version as well!

DreaMac maybe???

parallels desktop always made imgburn work, but thx not everyone gets into emulation.

I have since switched to Linux and have added support! Works just as well, 100% success rate on over 25 different games/home brew. Check out the new site @

I do as well, I have done all the work in the new version to work on 10.7+, you just need Xcode and to run the “build-all” script in the source download. See the new website @ https://alex-free.github.io/dcdib/. Thanks for the interest and support!
