Crash at Start up Solution:

After installing it on my PC it kept getting crashes when I would launch the game. After a while of surfing the web I came to this and it completely fixed the problem.

I fixed mine on XP:

1) Right click MyComputer -> Properties
2) Click on Hardware tab
3) Click Device Manager
4) Disabled "Unimodem Half-Duplex Audio Device" under Sound, video and game controller
5) Start CoDWaW

Interesting. I think the game has more depth than COD 4. WaW is my most favorite COD yet. I don't like they hype surrounding the game though and don't understand its huge following.
