Trouble with getting online

My Dreamcast has been able to get online with ease for about a year now. With the Dreampi method. However, I’ve noticed the internet speed on some of the games (specifically PSO ver.1 and quake 3 arena) has dropped significantly. At times, even disconnecting me. When I try to reconnect. I get an error message that says that it couldn’t connect. What would be the issue?

Did anything change at all (hardware, cables, location)?

Do you have Alien Front Online to see the baud it reports when connected ?

The problem may lie with the Dreamcast's modem . Had to change mine out for a spare

May be the LVI. Did you buy one or make one? Check the Baudrate in AFO and let us know

I am having the same issue. Setup network with 4x4 as recommended. DC connects fine. When I create game or join game, it pops p with the connection problem error and about 10 seconds later will just disconnect saying server unavailable. Baud rate is auto set to 33600. I made my own LVI.

Do i need to replace the modem? Or do I need to replace LVI?
