Alright, so since my 0.9A fuses came in, I did some extensive testing on using multiple units with SD-cards and OLED screens.

With the 0.4A fuse, I was only able to use one COMPLETE usb4maple(+hub+sd+oled+speaker) at a time. Plugging in a second unit would blow the fuse and controllers would disconnect. However, I am able to connect 3 BASIC usb4maple(+no extras) units with the 1 COMPLETE unit, without issues.

With the 0.8A fuse, I was able to connect a second COMPLETE unit without any issues. However, plugging in a third unit would result in issues, depending on the type of controllers plugged in. If the controllers had rumble support, onboard LEDs, speakers, etc, such as a PS5 controller, the fuse would blow. If the controllers were basic controllers, such as arcade sticks, all 3 controllers would work... however the OLED screen on the third unit would not.
