Cos this is really ticking me off now
Maybe I'll make a strategy video if I have some time.

I also started to do 170 and then when i changed my stategy i did 150 and 130, so obviously i was doing wrong

Things i do:
- once the game starts order the bot to hold your position (to avoid him running to a control point)
- protect control points (do not capture them)
- when all control points are captured or even before that, place your team bot in that strategic point where he can't do much.
- make the game balance itself to make it last longer
- Kill and hope for the best.

yeah, check out my last post, I edited it. If you watch my video the score goes up regardless of me killing once I take and hold lower and central. I take them myself and as i hold them and defend them my points go up by 1 per second, if the bot on my team takes the control points I do not get any points, so I think the best way to play is allow the other team to control them to begin with so that they build up a score, which you then chip away at by taking and holding 2 positions yourself, the trouble I find is that the bot will resume doing what he wants if he dies, either that or he just flat out ignores me lol. either way it is obvious to me now that you have to attempt to win to try and get as many points as you can from holding the control points, if you watch my 2nd video carefully you will see what I mean, once I take the two points and hold them my personal points start sky rocketing, and somehow I'm lucky enough to not lose them and the bot on my team seems to just stay in the area near the lower control point. Very bizarre and boils down to a lot of luck.

Doubt I will get another chance to try this now before the end of the comp. I tip my hat to you Wiz, I can't get back up to 200 again, let alone 216!!

this proves my point:

http://strategywiki.org/wiki/Unreal_Tou ... Domination

"Domination requires you to take control of various control points, where you gain 1 point for each point you hold for five seconds. Unlike the other campaigns, this may be the easiest since it is more prone to chance rather than skill."

Yeah, you're pretty much right on, KIREEK. Here are my "rules":

1. Order bot to hold position away from any control points.

2. Keep the game as close as possible to a tie to prolong the game. Even if it means letting the other team capture more control points.

3. NEVER capture all three control points at once. This seems to cause the team score to go up faster than your own which is no good! Your score must be higher than the team score at ALL TIMES or you will end with 150 points or less.

4. KILL! KILL! KILL!

You can also try and "control" where the enemy spawns. Example: If you capture both the upper and central (or lower) control points, the enemy will most likely spawn on the lower level. I did this on this on my last try and I was able to predict where they spawned almost every time.

I was putting him next to or on one of the ramps going up. Either the one up from the lower base or the one next to central.
