Wrong again. I'm not trying to make a big deal out of this but I seriously have no clue where you got that idea from because the cable I'm using is far from cheap build quality. The cord is made of clear plastic, all the connectors are gold-plated, and the video connectors are made of steel. Of course I have no idea who makes it since it has no lettering or brand name on it.

My "setup" is very odd, but does sort of point out what sort of person I am.

The "public setup" that I have, meaning the stuff I have that my friends know about and I share freely, is a perfect example; low key! I don't like showing off too much, and a large % of my friends don't even know how much of a Sega nut I am.

This is my entertainment center, all nice and tucked away. Most visitors don't even figure it out what it all is untill they ask. I use a mits hc3800 hd dlp projector, and have a classic xbox, ps2, wii, and a spare black treamcast vga box sitting on top there for Unreal Tournament games between a friend and I every now and then (and also some times pso when I feel like getting out of my "dork room." )

Here is the ps2 side, showing off some of my fun controllers & wii games (i painted the fan to match my xbox & the other consoles you will see in a second), and the wii side, showing off my pretty xbox.

I love hardware collecting, shown were a Freak Berserk ps2 & Madcatz Retron controller for PS2, as well as a radica racing wheel for xbox (great for crazy taxi 3!). I have a pile of adapters for swapping controllers between systems too, and a lot of stuff not shown, like the ps2 resident evil 4 chainsaw controller (huge damn display case!), and light guns out the a$$.

But... I play Sega awsomeness in my "dork room," which most of my friends don't even know exist.

Here is my sexy consoles, all matching (also matching the xbox & fan from the previous picture), with matching controllers all over the place. Yes, that is infact an official dreamcast PSO game display promo thingy from Software Ect, a decade old & legit!

Here is my sexy genesis with my personal Chao sggg VMU, that has been seeing more use this past month!

My favorite console EVER is and always will be the saturn. I think the scud toy is probably my favorite thing, even if the pso racaseal is a dead-on match for Lust (my racaseal).

A shot of my dreamcast, which will soon have a special "expansion" unit sitting under it once I finish a custom A/V out plug.

While I still do use a crt tv for the sega stuff (due to Scud & House of the Dead 2 being two of my top favorite 20 games EVER), I still do have everything wired by composet cables. If you look at the first sega-room picture you can even see the matching A/V selector switch, painted to match everything else. Meticulous bastard arn't i?

ALL of my sega consoles have a purple / UV light, that really looks good. Its hard to take pictures of the color, it always looks white in the picture. I tried an LED mod on my xbox but botched it, and now that Xlink has given me a new button plate, i'm semi-tempted to do it again.

After my wii's warranty expires, it will also get the purple / UV light treatment. I've already done micro-LED's on one controller, its very pretty!

I actually do have a large # of games, but I'm very picky about which ones I like. I keep the ones I "like" in my collection, and keep a "play-list" of games that are just SOOOO good, that I play them frequently.

Here is my current "play-list," full of obvious and oddities. A continuous project of mine is collecting Sega 32X NBA Jam boxes, as it and one other sports title are the ONLY 32X games that came in plastic clamshells. I've already gotten Kolibri & Blackthrone in them - i will always need more!

As stated, I'm a hardware collector. And I'm partially OCD and very picky about what I keep and take. All of my Sega CD & Saturn cases are basically mint, which is a hard task!

I really just need to downsize some of my collection to keep / make room for more desirable things. I have a footlocker full of bubble-wrapped consoles & cartridges & controllers, a closet full of awsomeness that I have hardly any other place for, and most of that should be on display somehow, and even more games that are just to wickedly good or special in their own rights that need a displayed, like that "US release" alien soldier or the Everdrive!

yea, i'm crazy... sorry.

to much red for me too. you have a pretty nice collection going there tho. i just got rid of damn near everything you have. it took up way to much space. only Sega hardware i have left is a model 1 Genesis a Nomad and a black Sports Dreamcast. i was happily surprised that my (model 2/32x/Sega CD) tower of power sold for over 100 bucks with some games and other stuff with it.
