That uppercut looks like fun stuff. My only criticism is regarding the animation, the transition from the uppercut pose to the falling pose seems pretty abrupt to me. Or is that still a WIP?

I have really enjoyed the games from Senile Team so far and this looks absolutely ace. Exactly the type of game I adore and this looks super fun. Really love the graphics and character design. So vibrant and really seems to "pop" if that makes sense.

This is actually a very fast method to create animations. It's usually even more time-consuming.
