The OST for that game is better than it has any right to be.

I can't turn on the Dreamcast and not play some Soul Calibur, but otherwise working my through Sonic Adventure. Also love playing shmups like Gunbird 2 on the arcade stick.

Trying to (finally) complete of of my favourite games; Maken X! After that I'm going to attempt to (finally) complete Headhunter. I've played both of these up to around 80% completion and gotten stuck. It's been years since i've been back to them but it's time to take out the trash.

I just threw Maken X on my GDEMU! Never played it, seems really interesting and unique.

I went back to Metropolis Street Racer and finally was able to get into it. I've always felt like it puts up a lot of barriers, but I persevered through the first couple of chapters and I've come around to think it's a pretty excellent racing game with serious flaws. The kudos system is a great mechanic, but it actually fights against what the game wants - you only get kudos for drifting, but doing so scrubs off so much speed that it's not encouraged unless you cheat the events and gain position or time enough to do so. You really can't focus on winning races while maximizing your kudos score, because grip driving is so much more effective.

The other issue is really that the game is just far too drawn out. I've gotten through the first seven (of 25!) chapters, and I already feel like I've gotten my fill. The structure of the game is highly repetitive, and it's fun for a while but I cannot see myself going much further and grinding the same events over and over in different variations of each location.

Incredible soundtrack, great game, but certainly feels like a first attempt at a concept that would be executed much more effectively with Project Gotham.

recently started Evil Twin again. It's a PAL exclusive so for those who haven't heard of it I can recommend it!

Its vibe is comparable to Alice or even the old Shiny PC game Sacrifice (anyone played that?).
