Absolutely right, I totally agree with you ! Music is immensely important as it can help set a scene, capture a mood or a moment and evoke all sorts of emotions in the player. And I think a good soundtrack has the power to transform even ordinary games into something truly beautiful.neitmrh15 wrote:Phantasy Star Online needs to get props for it's music. There's more to a games beauty than graphics, although they aren't too shabby in PSO either.
I agree...DCUltrapro wrote:Has anyone played Le Mans 24 Hour? The graphics are ASTOUNDING!!
TBH Vanishing Point looks like a hi res viisually polished version of a PS1 port so i personally feel it doesn't compete graphically so said racing titles on DC... Although i most def agree with F355! It's one fuckin' gorgeous looking game!I third that statement.........with the proviso that you all accept that Vanishing Point and F355 come very close to equalling it.
I had no idea!It still galls me that the DC Le Mans 24hr doesn't have the Ps2 version's pit stop routine. A baffling ommision which Sony fanboys back in the day had great fun pointing out
Interestingly, the game engine which powers VP was designed around getting the most out of the DC and Ps2 architecture. It was certainly amongst the highest poly-pumping games around back then. The Ps1 version was a port of this engine, not the other way round.TBH Vanishing Point looks like a hi res viisually polished version of a PS1 port so i personally feel it doesn't compete graphically so said racing titles on DC
