My only request is allow people to set what game they are playing manually if it isnt automatically detected, my dc now account almost never shows what game im playing

Hi Xiden!, it will show the same results that DcNow web. Since DreamPi 1.6, every game is showed fine, only fails starlancer or 4x4 (i dont remeber well sorry) because shares the same address.
The best part is what tmjwid have done, the notifications, i like to receive advices when someone plays somegame .
My mistake was to use a wrong api at the start of the project, but i swear it, soon something will be released.

PBA Bowling and Maximum Pool are the ones that won't show up. PBA Bowling will show up as Starlancer. That being said, some people still do appear to be having issues. I'm guessing it's some sort of network/ISP issue on their side though because all games show up for me.

A question about this, affects to show that name if you are using a backup, a Gd, or a diferent region of each game?
I know that is maybe a fool question, because that thing works with the DNS that DreamPi are asking (bad explain from my part but you understand me sure hehe).
I saw that, ie, Sonic Adventure is never recognized by my DCNow account, but others players got it.
I tried ago a time to log the outgoing connections of dreampi to see diferences with one games or others, but nothing clear, need more time that i dont have now .

PAL games do sometimes request a different domain than their US counterparts but that should be accounted for. Burned games wouldn't make any difference.

Bumping this topic, since we've had quite a few new people get dreampi's recently. Trying to get DC Now awareness out there

I _believe_ it's done by IP connections- the DreamPi has no idea what software the DC is actually executing.

Hey guys, just a bit of an update to the dreamcast now app. I have a very very basic (the ui is super super basic) build ready, it just lists who all the users and who is online at the moment but if anyone wants it then they can install the apk. As this is an early build do not expect performance or it to work all the time if at all.

I'll be working on this quite a bit from now on as I have the backend infrastructure built and running. Next release will hopefully have notifcations. I'm not focusing on ui at the moment because I'd rather get a working, functional app that is usable by everyone than a fancy looking but broken app.

Here's the apk. Let me know if there are any problems with it and enjoy this very basic alpha release!
