Ew, Orkut.

Long before exists Facebook, MySpace or other social networks there was Orkut. And i guess all the brazilians has a personal page on it, long before.

Brazilians love to show themselves, that is why they flood the twitter and other medias.

And girls here take this sh!t just too seriously! Not on this network anymore.

A girl who lives in Amazonia said I was Handsome through Orkut (I really am!), and my girlfriend at the time broke with me! I live near the Uruguayan border. Is just a continent away!

Anyway, would love to show support, but I have a girl, she's a latin girl and she also take what is written or shown on Orkut seriously. She's 28 years old, so not a kid.

Being on Orkut for a brazilian, is a serious thing, so I can take the project seriously now. I have little doubt on this, since the publisher's site is down (all the links).

After being a lurker here for some time, I decided to register here to draw your attention to a few facts that haven't been mentioned here yet...

Most of the images they have posted for this game, were either taken from the japanese game "3D Custom girl", or they hacked the models & build their program around it. (they could of course have gotten permission from the Japanese game company, but somehow I doubt it...)

Either way, I think it's not a bad idea to be careful about this before sending your money in preorders... at least they should have the honesty to tell if what they are doing is legal before selling it to people...

Yeah, good point. But it seems this game are made whit the help of Brazil-Japan Cultural Alliance. There is a lot of japaneses living in São Paulo. Would not be hard to get the license.

This is true, I heard that Brasil has the largest Japanese speaking population in the world after Japan itself, so this could be a legit deal.

Yuan Works makers of Wind and Water: Puzzle Battles does something similar, there devs are Chinese and Costa Rican though.

It looks like the Spanish word "quiero", which means "want". So, close enough I suppose.
