Those were probably bots. They're removed as people join.SuperHands wrote:when we tried to join everyone would get kicked but us.

- Dreamcast Games you play Online: As many as I can, play in the same room as my buddy so there are always 2 of us.
Re: Quake III Arena Dreamcast-Talk Server
Even when I joined by myself, everyone in the room would be kicked. If they are bots I wish they'd stay until being replaced by a real player. I'll make sure to hop on the chat next time to see where everyone is. Quick question, we're in Ohio, does that mean we should set our DC clocks to UK time?

Re: Quake III Arena Dreamcast-Talk Server
If it was my server then I have it set to 2 minibots. This means if 1 person joins 1 bot will get kicked and 1 will stay so the player has a bot to play until more players join. When a second player joins then the second bot gets kicked.

Re: Quake III Arena Dreamcast-Talk Server
I was Noname from Quake last night (couldn’t figure out how to change my screen name), it was my first time being able to get on and join any matches. I had a blast even though I kept getting my butt kicked! I hope to get in some more matches soon.
SuperHands wrote:My buddy and I were trying to play last night, but nobody seemed to be on the dc-talk server (except Noname, thx man for sticking with us). Everyone was on a different server it seemed, and when we tried to join everyone would get kicked but us. We're playing in the same room with super fast internet here in Ohio, and our dreampis are setup to work on the same network at the same time. PSO works very well, so I'm not sure if we're doing something wrong, hopefully someone can help shed some light before next Fragging Friday!

Oh nice, I was hoping you'd see this! Ya, thanks for playing with us even tho we could never get a 4th. I assumed we were doing something wrong since so many people were on. I'll jump on the chat next time.
